The Starting Point
This isn’t a success story. This isn’t the aesthetic, perfectly curated life of someone who has it all together. This is the starting point of someone who is still trying to figure life out.
Right now, I’m nowhere near where I want to be. My routines aren’t perfect, my life isn’t polished, and I definitely don’t have everything figured out. But I’ve realized something lately, this moment matters just as much as the finish line. Every transformation has a beginning, and this is mine.
My name is Allison Starr, and this is my personal commitment to rebuild my life from the inside out, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
If I’m being honest, I’ve started over more times than I can count. There have been seasons where I was disciplined, focused, and strong. Where I was doing everything “right.” And there have also been seasons where I completely fell off track and felt like I was right back where I started. I know what it feels like to work incredibly hard and still feel stuck in the same self-destructive loop, the kind that feels almost impossible to escape from, and that’s part of why this exists.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s not about pretending I have everything together It’s about documenting the process of rebuilding my life and becoming the person I know I’m capable of being.
The person who is strong.
The person who is disciplined.
The person who actually follows through on the life she says she wants.
This blog will follow that journey.
The good days.
The setbacks.
The lessons.
The things that work and the things that don’t.
I’ll be writing about things like:
health and nutrition
fitness and discipline
mindset and personal growth
and building a life that actually feels aligned with who I want to be
Some days will be progress.
Some days will probably be messy.
But everything here will be honest.
This isn’t the highlight reel.
This is the beginning.
